I will say the difficulty is massively front loaded after the first map when your deck starts to come together it gets insanely easy than the Final Boss is a huge stress test for what you made. The final boss is definitely a great challenge if you like these types of games, because mans hits hard af and I think does a good job of convincing you that you need to actually use the movement mechanic. I think the game is a bit pricey for the amount of content that seems to be in the game looking at the glossary since I think you have all the cards unlocked for your starter hero and there's not a huge amount and one hero to unlock honestly I think 9-10$ is about the content worth getting to the final boss, so it's not far off and if you like these types of games you'll most likely enjoy this and the neat twist.

I played the demo for this during Steam Next Fest and enjoyed it! The Slay the Spire inspiration is all there and is a nice break from the action based roguelikes. A few things to note: - only two characters to choose from - the second character is only unlocked after completing a full run - difficulty can be hard a first, but once you have good card synergy is works out at the end - Music and stages need a little bit more variety Overall this is a good first game by the developer. I hope they continue to update this game to make i even better. If you are a fan of the deckbuilding genre, check this out! There is a demo as well!

I think I see what its going for, but it just doesn't land for me. It looks like Slay the Spire but with a hex map, but the movement isn't as impactfull as a game like say gloomhaven. The enemies take too much damage to kill and have too much movement/range so the best strategy it seems is to just punch them in the face. There also feels like very little strategy at play with which enemy to kill first, or how you take them down. Also the base classes cards seem lack luster. It has the standard attack and defend cards, costing 2 energy each, and then the special cards each cost 3. With 6 stamina you basically get to play 3 regular cards, or 2 special/regular cards, but the bonuses from the special cards only last one turn. The rougelike map is also just too much. Too many nodes, the fights last too long, but the fights aren't interesting (as I said with so much health and very little choice, at least at the beginning) so the beginning at least (which is as far as I got) felt like a slog. There should be less nodes with more rewards, or each fight should be shorter. I know I haven't played much of this game, but with how the beginning felt (unsatisfying, long, boring) and nothing …

Waystones is great. The tactical map is a nice enhancement to game play similar to Slay the Spire. I haven't beaten it yet, but I can see so many different strategies that might take me to a win. I'm going to get many hours of game time on this one. Good stuff.

Played the demo extensively and good to see the full version released, I love the addiction on the tactics style movement to the deck builder style of game. Good assortment of strategies in the game, haven't explored all approaches available yet, but having fun doing so
