RPG Maker strikes again! "Wesprau Senki" is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. This is a painfully generic and simplistic RPG Maker asset flip direct from Gotcha Gotcha/Kadokawa (creators of RPG Maker)... and I guess while they OWN the game assets, I'm still counting this as an RPG Maker asset flip because it's frankly as bad as all the other ones. This was dumped on Steam by Kadokawa to advertise RPG Maker, which is the worst thing to happen to gaming since GameMaker Studio, allowing weebs to make fan-fictions about their imaginary anime girlfriends and publish them for everyone to cringe at for $100 through Steam Direct. This is a very barebone game made with close to no effort. It tries to emulate dragon quest but the worst aspect of it. The enemy encounter is very high, every 10-20 step there will be encounter. Item to reduce encounter is also bizarre, you buy it from item shop, upon use it asks you which party member to be used on. So I need to buy 4 of them to use on everyone? The norm is use from inventory and the effect will execute unlike here. The AI from auto battle is also barebones, your party member will use AOE heal when your teammate has more than 1 lower than 80% HP when the lowest tier spell will heal about 50% in early game. Your mage character will also use AOE when there are more than 1 enemies whereby the other would have been defeated by your other characters resulting in costly spells on 1 enemy. You will always run out of MP just like dragon quest because the MP pool is very small and MP curative are expensive. There is no option to adjust battle text, it is very slow.
