About What's Up There?
What's Up There? is a unique meditative platformer game. Your only goal is to climb the ladder as far as you can. Jump over the steps again and again to reach the top eventually. But one mistake and you can fall to the very bottom losing all your progress. But use a simple blink system if you smart or fast enought to undo a fatal mistake.
Calm and cozy journey at the beginning but with insane risks as you become closer to the top
Nice neon style graphics with minimalistic environment so nothing distracts you from your goal
Climb thousands of steps to unravel the mystery of what is happening. Find out the reasons for everything that is happening here
Reach the top and find a true game end. Or stuck here forever halfway to the goal
"Want some up dog?

"What's up dog?"

"I dunno, what's up there dog?"

I want to give this a thumbs up, because it is what it says on the tin -
jump jump revolution.
I want to give it a thumbs down because I don't think I can really say I could recommend when there's nothing about the final achievement if you bang out a good run - but not everyone gives a damn about completionist stuff. I do feel like the other reviews are a hair short, but at the same time, there's not a lot to really say - I know I've written out a lot, but it's more to give people a better sense of the game. Graphically, don't expect to be amazed. I couldn't say I even remember there being a soundtrack, there is no story to speak of but I will say as you get to the top there is something vaguely analogous to doing a walking mediation (guided, personalized or Koan) and feeling something once you start to see something outside of the tower - if you're not locked into a "carry water" or zone-out type mindset, the feeling will probably be "OH THANK YOU IT'S NEARLY OVER". I guess I'll do the old-school magazine thing here:

[b]*Overall Experienc…2 found this helpful
There's nothing up there.
I mean, yeah? It's advertised as is. You just keep jumping. Can't really fault it other than you can't jump fast which is a bit annoying.
Put a podcast on in the background and keep jumping until you make it to the top. Its quite hypnotic.
That's curious 🤔
