Wilderless

It needs work. Good thing it's being worked on. The dev has posted some update videos. So while there hasn't been an update on here in a while, it's nice to see they're working on it. I see where the vibe of this game is going, and I like it. It's relaxing. I look forward to seeing some refining, and a few more features. If the price of this were higher, I would say wait. But the barrier to entry is so low, that I'd say it's already worth it just to see where it's at and enjoying it for what it is.

I really really needed this game. It takes a bit to learn the controls for someone like me who doesn't do games like this where you have to wander, jump, etc very well, but it's totally worth it. There's some odd stuff that happened to me like I tried to decorate a 'garden" I made next to a beached pirate ship, and I put some rocks there, but I think a rock golem ate them. Also, I was randomly in a rowboat for no discernible reason. It's easy to pick up and just start exploring, interacting with creatures, flying as a dragon or flying in a balloon (hold down the space bar to go up!!). It's been both hilarious and fun and exactly what I needed. I was never so excited about randomly finding a beet in a meadow. I have no idea if I can do anything with it, but I found one and I got way more excited than I probably should. If you are a casual gamer who just wants nothing to do with the usual grind of most sandboxy mmorpg's and want to just run around and do stuff, this is for you. There are dungeons, but I suck at them and got stuck in the fire or water more than once so....at your own peril. Luckily, you can't die, and you can just bug out if you're stuck. This game looked good when I saw the intro video, but ultimately when I played it I didn't like it, I noticed that this game is empty, you just wander, walk and run around without any specific objective. I do not recommend this game.

I see the vision and I'm here for it. Obviously has jank generation in places, but it has more features than I expected and is great for artists to reference backgrounds and scenery from ^^
