Windstorm: An Unexpected Arrival

I would really like to recommend this game to others however, the game leaves something to be desired. If you enjoy long winded, follow/fetch quests then this might be for you. The horse animations are very lacking however, I knew buying this game that the graphics were not going to be the best. I like the fact that you need to ride everywhere however, the movement speed is ridiculously slow. The quests are also very very far apart and with no fast travel (expect spawning at the last bonfire you've been to), the quests really seem to drag out. Some movements and terrain are buggy, meaning getting stuck happens surprisingly often if you're off the beaten track. There is also a levelling up system regarding trust with animals and other people however, it is not really explained at least halfway through the game (I have only played half of the game before stopping so it may be explained at a later point?). All in all, this game is meh at best, I would definitely buy it on sale and not at full price. I really long for a horse orientated game however, this just doesn't scratch the itch for me.

Can we play with German voice acting? It's a very pretty game with a decent story thus far! The world and visuals are fantastic, albeit with the odd discrepancy: there's an airfield with aeroplanes that Ari can phase through, and the odd building that you're likely not supposed to enter with a phase-through door. Overall, I've only just entered the open world and acquired the bow, and thus far, it's a very nice play!

I loved this game. It's very cheesy but that's usually how girl-befriends-horse games go. I played through this whole game including scavenger hunts. Start to finish, it took about 33 hours. My only complaint is that even with a higher level gaming PC, it still gets a bit laggy around the swamp.

It is a really great game! The only thing I would comment on is you need a fairly new computer to support it. Mine is 4 years old and gets really laggy if I do not have graphics on medium, and it still is a bit laggy sometimes.

Beautiful open-world that isn't too large to explore (fast-travel is not an option in this game. tbh i prefer it without it), fun archery mechanic, and plenty of side-quests and collectibles to keep one occupied for hours after finishing the main story. The story itself is a bit short but fun, it follows the classic horse movie plot beats, AND you get to run from the cops for the majority of it. Would I love it if the world was bigger and the story went on for longer? Yes. Am I perfectly satisfied with the game I bought? Absolutely.

it's actualy really fun and its 100% worth it :) but i would reccomend getting it on sale lol <3
