The wall-jumping absolutely kills the game for me. It's extremely hard to NOT encounter the game-breaking bug that locks you into place and you have no choice but to quit out of the game to have another shot at making progress. After too many attempts, I gave up playing.

"Winnie-The-Pooh Taste Test" is pretty awful. It is, of course, another case of a creatively bankrupt amateur developer ripping off the public domain for their own aggrandizement. This time, the corpse that has been exhumed and abused is, remarkably, not HP Lovecraft. Nor is it Lewis Carroll. Amateur devs definitely love making those public IPs even worse with garbage games. No, today it's the beloved work of AA Milne that's been abused. The developer of this garbage took Winnie the Pooh (no, not the leader of the Chinese regime) and made possibly one of the worst platformer/brawlers ever made with it. And it really is awful. What do you do in the game? You control Winnie the Pooh and beat the crap out of a bunch of badly done sprites. The artwork appears to have been stolen from the original illustrations by E.H. Shepard. More public domain abuse. The thin veneer of an abused, beloved childhood property aside, this is a lacklustre and unenjoyable platforming experience with janky controls and zero polish. So this looks like an old 1990's Adobe Flash game that you might play in a web browser, and the problem there is obviously Steam wasn't intended to try compete wi…

As stated by a few others, game has a bug that hard freezes it within the first few minutes so currently unplayable.

I kinda assume this is a game made as a learning experience or experiment so I'm gonna review it like one. Good things: - Cute - Visuals are good - Parallaxing looks cool - Concept is fun! Bad things: - controls don't feel satisfying: 1. Jumping off a ledge feels bad; half the time I just run straight off the ledge. 2. It feels like I should be able to press up/down and the attack button at the same time for it to attack in a direction, but it turns out I have to press the direction FIRST then attack, otherwise it's just a normal attack. It doesn't feel good. 3. Range for attack is unclear (or maybe just too short?); I either can't hit an attack or I get attacked instead (but I could just be bad at it lol) - Game feel 1. Attacks don't feel impactful 2. Jumps don't feel impactful - Visuals are too static. It would be cool for Pooh Bear to have some different animations. Maybe an idle animation, maybe a little landing animation when he hits the ground after a jump, an animation for when he takes damage, etc etc. Also grass movement when its stepped on. - Bees pathing is too brick breaker ball-esque. Bug (literally): - I killed a bee an…
