Witch of Ice Kingdom II is a fantasy role-playing game developed by Windward_Birds and published by XNZONE. Built around a classic RPG framework, the game delivers a compact adventure that blends magical storytelling, exploration, and traditional turn-based battles. Rather than chasing modern trends, it embraces the charm of old-school role-playing games, offering an experience that feels inspired by the era when narrative and atmosphere were often more important than technical spectacle. The story takes place on the frozen Exlester Continent, a land permanently scarred by an ancient conflict between powerful witches. Generations after that devastating war, the world remains trapped in an endless winter, creating a setting filled with mystery and melancholy. Players step into the role of Nonoly, a young witch whose journey gradually reveals forgotten truths about the continent and the strange return of magical forces that threaten the fragile peace. The narrative unfolds through exploration, character interactions, and discoveries scattered throughout the world, giving players a reason to continue pushing deeper into the icy wilderness. One of the game's strongest qualities is it…

If you love charming, story-driven adventures with a touch of magic, Witch of Ice Kingdom II is an absolute delight. From the first scene, you’re drawn into a beautifully crafted world full of icy landscapes, mysterious kingdoms, and a story that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The narrative is rich, heartfelt, and surprisingly deep, making every quest feel meaningful and every character encounter memorable. The true heart of the game is the protagonist, the young witch herself. Brave, clever, and endlessly determined, she navigates the dangers of the Ice Kingdom with a mix of cunning and courage that makes you root for her every step of the way. Her journey is as much about personal growth as it is about saving her kingdom, and the way the story unfolds ensures you’re invested in her success from start to finish. And then there’s the cat. Honestly, the cat is the star of the show. Playful, clever, and endlessly adorable, this furry companion brings humor, warmth, and a surprising amount of strategy to the adventure. From helping in tricky puzzles to stealing the show in cutscenes, the cat elevates every moment of the game. It’s impossible not to love this little sidekick,…

Very unique JRPG with some endearing characters. Rather short but I enjoyed the atypical art style, it's clear that although there's some minor graphical issues here and there there was still actual passion that went into this project and I enjoyed doing a full playthrough of the game, but I didn't like it enough to bother going for 100% achievements. If a game having bad English translation is a dealbreaker you'll definitely want to avoid this one, sometimes the English is so jambled and out of order I was having a hard time even understanding what the characters were trying to communicate, for me this crossed over into "so bad its good" territory where I just start laughing and having a good time over the shoddy translation, if you were actually invested in the story it would probably annoy you. Battle system offered good progression and was enjoyable. The DLC chapter Witch 1 is genuinely pretty bad, I'd skip it unless you want to get the achievements that are tied to it. Overall the game is fun and worth buying on sale but I wouldn't spend more than $1.50 on it, it's decent for an RPG maker title but I've seen better out there.

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of y…
