I hold the Wolfenstein series in rather high regard. It possesses a heart most uncommon, characters with genuine spirit, and a setting so delightfully intriguing that one can almost overlook the fact that it involves reducing Nazis to a fine crimson mist. A positively civilized pastime, if ever there was one. The Blazkowicz sisters are, from a design perspective, rather splendid. One can clearly see the influence of both William and Anya in their appearance, and I genuinely appreciate that aspect. The level design is where this game truly shines. After the architectural diarrhoea that was The New Colossus, it is painfully obvious that Arkane had a hand in these levels. Good Lord. Every inch of this game is dripping with detail. Whether it is the Catacombs or the many districts of Neu Paris, the world is bloody gorgeous. The sheer scale of the buildings is enough to make one stop and gawp like a village idiot. I spent an embarrassing amount of time simply admiring the architecture. Exploring these levels is an absolute joy. The enemy roster is splendid. I was delighted to see several familiar faces from the old DOS games, including those charming fellows in the white lab coats. I…

worth a try, very fun and straight to the point. not as bad as people say (some of the dialogue is very corny tho lol) [[definitely buy deluxe if on sale, buddy pass is very good to play with friends for (almost) free
