Okay so to clarify, since at the time of writing the store page leaves this aspect fairly ambiguous (which I'm sure is completely by accident, wink wink) - this port does not translate a single thing in-game. Aside from their emulator overlay options, everything that's in English in this was already English in the original version. This means that not a single bit of the story dialogue has been translated - normally not a huge deal in a shmup, right? Well, here every level is divided by a series of voiced interactions that are completely unskippable (in WolfFang; in SkullFang they're partially skippable) and fairly slow. Meaning that unless you understand Japanese, you'll just be sitting there for a while, staring blankly, before you get to play again... Fun! After the shockingly high-effort port of Assault Suit Leynos 2, I was kind of hoping they'd translate the text boxes... or, you know, something at least. But nope. This is just the old Japanese originals with their usual emulator overlay. Personally I'd avoid it, but you do you.

This is a great Saturn Tribute game. Two great shoots and both play externally well. City Connection has been doing a great job bring us these games. Keep up the great work.
