About Wunder: The Double-Sided Deckbuilder
A roguelike deckbuilder, about flipping coins to cross the Rivers of Hades.Every "card" is a coin that can land heads or tails (usually), granting an afterlife... or a swift end in the dark waters.Let's Play a Game of Wunder! Inspired by Balatro & Slay the Spire, you collect coins and flip them in battles of chance against the Ferryman. You play by drawing 7 coins from your deck, rearranging and then flipping them all at once. With strategic planning and more than a little luck, they can trigger & reflip each other; destroying the target score, if not... well, what goes up must come down.Features
- Journey through the Rivers of the Underworld, from Styx to Phlegethon; each river will test you in different ways. Cross to the other side and try your luck in the endless mode, Asphodel.
- Build a strategy using unique Coins and Talismans. All the Coins are based on figures throughout Greek mythology, each with their own unique risk / reward mechanics that can synergise or disrupt each other.
- Upgrade the heads, tails or both sides of each coin in order to create a balanced deck, or put everything on one coin and pray to the gods that it lands heads and breaks the game.
- Many decks in the form of different classes, each with their own game-changing abilities.

My first run had a crazy clutch on one of the bosses, and me and my friend screamed during the call! Game is fun, runs great and I didn't have any issues. I think while at its core it looks like everything is just a 50/50 chance of occurring, you get a lot of different ways to modify and sculpt your build which let me get some crazy combos.1 found this helpful
5th run in and I managed to use the hyda coin to go endless and get 10^10 points. Really cool roguelike, love the concept of having coins instead of cards that have different effects depending on whether you land heads or tails.
This one is very promising. I really enjoyed it but it needs controller support, would be great on Steam Deck if it had.
Very fun game to play, always having to build your deck around the possibility of the coin landing on either side brings more depth to the game. There are many fun combos and loops to explore especially with imbuing the coin with different elements and being able to manipulate the coins to fit your deck. would recommend
This is Damn fun! I watched A youtuber play this game, and bought it within 30 seconds. This type of game just speaks to me. Looking forward to more updates!
