The main menu music is Blooket. I swear I'm not crazy. Good game too I guess.

A fun game with some great music. I'm looking forward to seeing the roadmap's features come out so that I can eventually try the multiplayer with friends, as it would be fun seeing all of the builds between us working together. I've had fun with what's already here, even with only a few runs, and have seen a lot of differences you can have with weapon loadouts, and I'm looking forward to seeing what other combinations I can build on future runs.

WZRDS 1.0 released Nov 27, 2025. It was presented as a finished product, not an alpha, beta, or early-access title. That context forms the basis for this critique: WZRDS scratches a very specific Atari-era itch that some older gamers might appreciate. There is a solid foundation here, and you can see the outline of something that could become great. However, in its current 1.0 state, the game feels way under developed. Characters & Builds: Functionally identical beyond their starting spell. No meaningful distinction between them aside from color. No apparent character-exclusive spells or skills to make cool builds, making choice selection feel superficial or cosmetic. Power-ups: Numb and unsatisfying. Whether common or legendary, they marginally change the playstyle. Damage increases are fleeting, often only felt for a level or two before becoming almost irrelevant. Progression lacks impact and fails to deliver the sense of growth this roguelike genre requires. Maps: This is D- work--the absolute lowest passing grade for what a level must be. No choke points or anything exciting -- just an empty square, an occasional trap that only damages the player, and empty space. WZRDS…

Pretty dope little brotato-like. Worth a go. Controller support could use some love, at least the ability to pause, but it works well enough to play
