big fan. Best one when compared to kiwami 1 and 2.
Better than Kiwami 3, but ps3 Y3 will forever be the best version, as the game mechanics function normally. The difference in gameplay from the two is night and day, though you can get a bit closer with mods that restore the proper heat gauge and analog deadzones.
I like the story (eh, really only the orphanage scenes) but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell why is this game enemy block heaven.
story is good, game is good, okinawa was a refreshing map after playing 3 games in kamurocho back to back. only flaw in this game is you deal no damage to bosses also heat actions barely damage bosses they also block the entire fight so boss fights just genuinely get dragged for too long. 9/10
The story really has its ups and downs but it ended with an up so I liked it. The game shows its age but the combat is not as bad as people make it out to be especially once you get double finisher which I got really early in the game without even doing much side content. Coming from Kiwami 2 the graphics was the hardest hitting thing for me but it wasn't too bad to the point it was unplayable. I'm glad it was on the shorter end though
