The story is great but the combat shows its age. It sucks that RGG hid this under a bundle. However the dynamic between Kiryu and the children at Morning Glory is super heartwarming. 7/10

It's definately my least favourite of the yakuza series. The story doesn't get your attention but that's fine cause usually the draw of the yakuza games is all the side content anyway, but this one gives us Dadkuza and even more homoerotic yakuza characters, and I will always choose this one over kiwami because at least this one doesn't hamfist in the daidoji and use a Kagawa's likeness.
