Kazuma Kiryu thought his Tojo Clan days were behind him. He and the young girl in his care, Haruka Sawamura, have built a peaceful life from the ashes of conflict. All it took was a single gunshot to shatter that peace. Yukio Terada, the Fifth Chairman of the Tojo Clan, has been assassinated. With war on the horizon, the legendary Dragon of Dojima is pulled back into the world he wanted to leave behind.
Kiryu must travel to Sotenbori, Osaka in an attempt to broker peace between the rival clans, but Ryuji Goda, known as the Dragon of Kansai, will stop at nothing to get his war. In this world, there can only be one dragon.

ragdolls go boom
True Yakuza use the dragon engine! Gameplay wise by far the best Yakuza game in the franchise! Everything else is also really good, the sidequests, the exploration, the characters, the story and the best part of Yakuza is back... CABARET MINI-GAME! Its really addicting and fun plus the girls are really cute! A lot of re-turning characters from the prequels make the game even better and thats a thing RGG always does, the always bring back older characters which i do really like. Storywise its better than any new Yakuza game but thats my personal opinion. Not really a big fan of those new "Fantasy-Like" Yakuza games like Pirate in Hawaii and so on. Kiwami 2 is a true Yakuza game with an interesting story, loveable characters and bunch of emotional moments.

Its funny watching enemies flop around like fish after falling on an oddly elevated surface.
