Zeitgeist is a really interesting little adventure game because the first thing that caught my attention was the setting. I am exploring an ancient city that was once submerged but is now sitting in the middle of a desert, looking for the Heart of the City. Water is almost gone from the world I am coming from, so there is a pretty clear reason for going after it. I also have a little pot plant companion with me, which is such a strange detail that it gives the game a lot of its charm. The main mechanic is being able to switch between the past and present versions of the city. This is where most of the puzzles come from, and I liked the idea behind it quite a bit. Something that blocks my path in one version of the city can be different in the other, so I have to look at the environment and work out how the two versions connect. There are also switches and ancient mechanisms to figure out, along with the usual jumping and platforming. The atmosphere is probably the strongest thing about the game for me. The city has a colourful and slightly dreamy look, and there is something nice about exploring the old halls while seeing how different they are between the two time periods. It fe…

Ehh, could use a lot more guidance... not really sure what I'm even supposed to be doing in this game.

this had so may bug, good thing this game has save point.

Unplayable. Invert Y is not inverting, and the camera is all over the place.

Pretty fun game!
