Been waiting to try more of this game after the demo came out a couple months ago, and it's actually pretty good Just finished my first run of the content that's out, took me 3.7h for the first 2 bosses in the game after a couple losses figuring things out The game's decently challenging, it takes a long time to wrap your head around the 2 hands mechanic but I feel like it's worth it The artstyle and theme are really good, hope that the devs release some wallpapers sometime soon Speaking of the devs, I have high hopes for this game because of them, there were a few performance issues for me and I mentioned it on discord and I got a response immediately, so I hope that they're going to update this game with some performance fixes and also some new content as 2 bosses isn't even close to being enough Game's still early access and shows great potential and it's definitely worth checking out!

Love it! As someone who hasn't played a lot of roguelike deck-building games, this takes some getting used to at first, but after some runs you start to understand how to better build the deck. I wish there were more stores in the early half of the map so it'd be easier to heal up if necessary. Love the artwork, animation, and music!

This is a roguelite deckbuilder inspired by Slay The Spire, but there's a lot more to it than that. The Yin/Yang system will be instantly recognisable to people who have played TCGs like Star Wars Unlimited, where every card can be played as a resource or for it's effect. That's how it starts in Zodiac Mountain, where the Yin side of a card gains 1 Qi and the Yang side of a card consumes Qi to activate a card effect. But as the game goes on it becomes more complex, where Yin cards can give different amounts of Qi and some give no Qi at all because they have a more powerful effect. The best part of this is that, when you obtain a new Yang card, most of them let you choose what the Yin side is from 2 or 3 different choices. This adds a whole new dimension to the deckbuilding and allows you to come up with completely different builds and strategies from the exact same pool of cards. The game also has a beautiful hand-drawn art style along with an excellent soundtrack (it's just one song but it's a really good song!). Be advised the game only currently has two acts. The developers are very active and have demoed the game at multiple conventions; this will be great once it's finished!

An early review, but I found it worth praising the game for it's spin on the deckbuilding card roguelike genre so far. More than anything, this games visuals are top notch with a lot of style, which kinda makes me want to see descriptions on all the enemies (probably an update in the near future). If I had to use this review for a bit of feedback, I'd really like to hear a different sound effect for the attack/punch as it feels somewhat 'wrong' for the impact I was expecting. May come back to update this review but definitely worth supporting and seeing it's updates if you're looking for another deckbuilder itch to scratch~ (also I don't want to call for nerfs toooo early on but healing 50% of HP at shops at the current price feels a bit OP)
