About Pax Autocratica

✦ AI summary

Pax Autocratica blends colony management with first-person roguelite combat as you build a totalitarian state, shape your citizens through fear or benevolence, and lead troops into escalating battles across enemy territories. Every decision ripples through your regime's society and battlefield tactics, from how you govern your population to whether you conscript, convert, or execute captured enemies in a war that grows from desperate skirmishes to large-scale mechanized warfare.

Build a grand totalitarian colony then personally storm roguelite battlefields with your soldiers. Shape citizens fears, loyalties, bonds, and feuds. Capture enemies, convert them into true believers. Sacrifice the weak. Feed the strong. Wield absolute power and make every life bend to your will.

✦ AI summary

Pax Autocratica is praised by players for being a unique fusion of FPS and colony-building mechanics that feels well-made and fun, though some note the lack of base raids is a missed opportunity. However, performance issues including stuttering and unplayable sections are significant concerns that prevent some players from enjoying the game in its current state. Players interested in the concept should consider waiting for performance fixes before purchasing.

Finished the first sector. So far a lot of fun, buggy prison but nothing saving and reloading does not fix. I like the combat but it can get repetitive (early access issue im assuming). The gun play feels great. The base management takes time to get used to, the menus can get confusing early on especially the Time off Edict. At its current build (10-13-26) id give 7/10. Lots of redeeming qualities that if can be expanded upon would make it great. According to the map im a 1/3 through. The boss was pretty challenging.

Ive taken my state prescribed mandatory medications so here is a very honest review The game is perfect That is all ... thats what id say if i were an NPC lmao tf u think ill take ur meds heh think again cuh nah the games alright but its really lacking the EDGE, its "fashy" but without any balls, yeah you can do indoctrination and whatever, but idk, it lacks honesty and tone like why do i get other species to join the cause, in fact, why would they in the first place? it cant even do slopship troopers style and just KILL THE BUGS (and aliens) The capture mechanic is beyond useless, even the highest tiers do nothing, you get the elite to 1% and its always a failed 9% capture. Not that you need to even use it, just play the game and youll get a bunch of soldiers anyway, plus the reproduction mechanic other than that its a good game, only by the fact that IT RUNS WELL ON HIGH SETTINGS, WOW!!! seriously cuh like have you seen this AAA slop lately, it cant even run on the latest 10000$ GPU worth a ♥♥♥♥ cuz "devs" would rather hire rajeesh and kumar to "optimize" their slop instead of actually doing any work, so good job to these guys for actually making something that runs well and…

Excelent game, with so much enjoyable content...

Christ this game is addicting; basically the 11 hours I have as of writing this was just kinda one sitting.

At first, the game gave me mobile game vibes with how much it held my hand while teaching me its mechanics. However, once I got past that initial phase, the expedition gameplay loop managed to hook me surprisingly well. My biggest issue right now is that the overall content and variety of upgrades feel quite limited compared to other roguelikes. Another major weakness is the colony simulation aspect, which feels seriously underdeveloped. I managed to finish the entire game without ever needing to change the colony setup I had established at the very beginning. I genuinely believe that if the developers can improve this side of the game, it could become something truly special. The other thing that's missing is deeper lore and world-building. If they manage to flesh out the universe they've created, I think this game has the potential to become a cult classic. I also found myself wishing for something reminiscent of the Red Alert series' iconic cutscenes. That kind of storytelling and atmosphere would fit this game incredibly well. Despite all these shortcomings, I genuinely had a great time playing it.
