An amusing game to kill time while listening to music. Delivers the exact amount of fun for its price.

It's a fun tower defence that made me want to play more tower defence games. Been sat in my library for years but it's like $5, worth the price.

Fun for people who like strategy games and nostalgic to people who used to play old tower defense games on school computers back in the day.

[h3] I played it a ton as a f2p game on mobile, and going through it on PC as a paid release was a real treat. [/h3] As a TD, Ancient Planet has simplistic, yet intriguing tower and map mechanics that keep you engaged throughout most of the experience. The game has unique and pleasant visuals that helped it stand out from the rest of TDs, at least for me. Atmospheric music and fun punchy sound effects perfectly complement the visuals, which make the whole experience addicting and memorable. Despite being old, the game runs well on modern systems. I encountered about 4 complete game freezes throughout my hours with it. Cons: - The game has mobile roots and it shows. I've spent 3-4 hours of pure farming of one stage until I felt like I'm confident enough to beat a good number of upcoming stages at different points of the game. This need to farm first appeared super early and it was quite unpleasant and felt out of place and pace within b2p game. - Upgrade checks of specific upgrade roots on some stages are too obvious. Go upgrade this and that and enter the room the right way, stupid. - Some maps within the same biomes are way too similar in visuals and structure. It makes you f…
