IMMORTALITY

a very unique game that I was really starting to get into, I was collecting clips and then some achievements started triggering as I was collecting clips ("You saw what happened to Some Guy"? no I didn't, and I don't even know what clip triggered that so that I can go back to it -- this happened with two different characters) and then out of nowhere the ENDING triggered! I have no idea how many clips I collected but I had probably only watched 1% of the video in the game, I had barely started to get ANY handle on the story. I did discover a few of the 'hidden' things, but it didn't make any sense yet. Suddenly the basically turns itself off and plays this ending that makes no sense to me and has no impact because I DON'T KNOW ANYBODY YET! Totally trashed the experience. I don't know if I just got 'lucky' in the RNG and happened to see the right parts of the right clips or what, but for all the massive effort of producing multiple movies and this complex web of connections, the basic game logic was not up to the task, booted me out of the experience and rolled credits. Oh and after the credits the controls were broken when I tried to go back and watch more clips. Also the game run…

True Story: I threw my steamdeck across the room by the end of the game absolutely terrorfying!

what a wonderful immersive experience, my friends and i were itching to pick apart every clip to get to the heart of the game. i am so amazed at how this game even came to be.

Cool narratively but it's legit 10 hours of footage with basically 0 agency. You'll have your own playthrough but basically no control over how that playthrough unfolds, unlike e.g. Her Story. Allocate time accordingly.

It isn't the longest game ever, but it's a game that has really stayed with me ever since I played it
