Make your brain work hard -> to calculate the space needed, raw vs product ratio, how to defend and expand your factory 3. Providing a lot of production stats -> which is great for a nerd like me 4. Vanilla game are great, but the community mod even greater

Amazingly fun, good tutorial helps you learn the game while playing and doesn't feel like a chore. Great community. Runs on old machines no problem. Very fun and addicting.
