✦ AI summary

Space Engineers is a deep sci-fi survival sandbox that excels in creative multiplayer experiences and offers hundreds of hours of content for players willing to invest in learning its systems. However, players are divided on whether the complexity is rewarding or frustrating, with common complaints about tedious grinding, obtuse mechanics like mandatory ramp-mining and multi-stage crafting for basic items, and a cluttered UI that many feel requires mods to become enjoyable.

Criminally underrated. The DLC system also doesn't hide any major systems behind a paywall so you don't need to get them to play unlike OTHER GAME STUDIOS *cough cough* Paradox games *cough cough*

Could be a good game, but hard to navigate the menu with all the dlc advertisement everywhere, which, by the way, cost 5 times more than the base game and barely add anything individually. Basically Paradox at this point, bat at least you can usually hide dlc crap in their games.

I keep coming back to play this game. The mods allow for so many different play styles and different maps that your imagination is the limit for how long you want to play for.

I've only played for a few hours now but I think it's a good game. I enjoy the open world and sandbox feeling of the game. Additionally, every update makes me uninstall a mod because that's just apart of the vanilla game now. Klang is a little annoying, however, you can utilize him to make some pretty cool stuff like an aircraft carrier catapult. I would recommend that you check out the second game as well as that's pretty cool as well. All in all, this is a great game and I'm still learning things here and there, but you'll have a few hours of entertainment of you have nothing else to do. Bonus points for fun if you have a/some friend(s). 10/10, would play again
