✦ AI summary

DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined is praised for its beautiful presentation and traditional turn-based RPG gameplay that becomes engaging after a slow opening hour, though players note the game feels overly streamlined compared to the original version with sluggish menus and dialogue that can feel tedious. Most reviewers recommend it for fans of classic JRPGs willing to push through the initial pacing issues, though some express disappointment that this remake seems to have lost some of the depth that made earlier Dragon Quest games memorable.

Beautiful game, super slow start (an hour or so before first fight) and some of the menu/dialogs are also slow, but it get's really good around the third hour or so.

it took sometime to pick up like at least a hour which felt like a chour after that it's dragon quest. if you wanna experience tradiotional turn based system you could not go wrong with dragon quest

I'd still recommend it. But it is too dumb down vs the original or 3DS remake and so far the worst major DQ I have ever played.
