So far I like the game, but I can't give a good review because of Photo Mode. All you have to do is take some pictures of happy animals. Sounds easy enough. But there's always that pair of animals that REFUSE to go past adequate for some reason. I would spend so much time and effort just trying to make them happy but the meter wont even move up a tick. This process is tedious and infuriating. And I would find myself being more angry than actually relaxed. I hope the developers get wiser and remove this or at least make it easier to get through. I was stuck on photo mode in the first level for like an hour because of it.

I wish there were options other than yes or no here, as I'd probably give this game a neutral option, as my review is more about this game not being what I hoped it was rather than it just being a bad game. It's not a bad game, it's just not the game I wanted when I added it to my cart. I am within the refund window still but won't be refunding it, despite this "not recommended". This game is more mechanical and shallow than I was hoping. Maybe I'm just too early in, as the second map had a bit of variation of the tools and process compared to the first map, but it feels like a mobile game where you start with something ugly, click a few times and it all gets replaced with something pretty. I was hoping for something that cared a bit more about the logistics (eg the soil cleanser produces concentrated waste that either needs to be processed or sent somewhere, instead it just cleanses everything and can be immediately recycled if you've unlocked that part) and the process (that soil cleanser just immediately cleanses everything in range as soon as you place it, instead of needing time to do its thing). It feels kinda like greenwashing the process of restoring habitats. To b…
