Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent®

I'm a huge fan of the Splinter Cell series. I have been for 20 years. I remember beating Chaos Theory and looking up what they had next. I loaded Splinter Cell's website and heard, "My name is Sam Fisher. I used to hunt terrorists. Now I am one." and I freaked the hell out! I was so excited. When this game first came out, I played it on Wii. I loved it. It played almost exactly like Chaos Theory, and the loyalty system made for replayability to see what would happen if you made different choices. It had a co-op mode so you could play with a friend, too. It was fantastic. So, why am I not recommending Double Agent on Steam? Well, that's because this is a completely different version. And a terrible port of that version too. The version on Wii, Gamecube, PS2, and the original Xbox is actually Version 2 of Double Agent, made by Ubisoft Montreal. Xbox 360, PS3, and PC is of Version 1, made by Ubisoft Shanghai. As the years passed, the concensus became clear that Version 2 was the better game, and I'm here to tell you that.... Yeah..... It is. It works on Windows 11 after running the patch from Ubisoft. For whatever reason, Ubisoft decided to release this as the unpatched version. I had visual issues in game until updating to 1.02a which fixed everything so far, no crashes yet either. Not the most supported version but works with mouse and keyboard and is worth it if you wanna revisit.

A very buggy pc port. Im trying so hard to enjoy this next gen game but Ubisoft literally ported the pc version out in im guessing a month. Its so bad and buggy it pisses me off game had a chance.
