About TimeKeeper

✦ AI summary

TimeKeeper is a contemplative idle game where you shake a magical tree to harvest fruits, wait through real-world time cycles for new yields, and manage your collection before the tree disappears and regenerates. What sets it apart is its meditation on patience and the passage of time, blending active shaking moments with long periods of waiting that reward return visits rather than constant engagement.

There is a "tree" here, which forever stands in this place, incapable of doing anything on its own, yet you can shake it. When you do, the tree will drop various fruits, which you can pick up and place in your inventory(When the numbers on the time sign all turn green and display "0", please use the left mouse button to click and hold the "tree trunk". Then, vigorously and rapidly shake the mouse with large movements until the fruit falls off.); these are the fruits of your efforts in shaking the tree. Once the tree has dropped its fruits, it enters the next phase. You must wait quietly, as it will take several days before you can harvest your next yield. If time passes and you do not collect your fruits, they will remain on the tree forever. After the tree has provided you with fruits several times, it will disappear, leaving behind a stump that evokes nostalgia. But do not worry, it will reappear.

TimeKeeper is one of the simplest games I have played in a while, but I found something strangely relaxing about its whole idea. I am basically standing around a beautiful tree, waiting for the right moment to shake it and collect whatever fruit falls down. That sounds almost too simple to work as a game, but I actually enjoyed how deliberately slow and quiet the experience feels. The main mechanic is all about waiting for the time board to reach zero and turn green. Once that happens, I can grab the tree and shake it around to make the fruit fall. I liked the physical feeling of having to actually move the mouse around rather than simply clicking a button, because it makes the harvesting feel slightly more interactive. It is still a very basic mechanic, but it gives the game its own little personality. After harvesting, the tree enters another waiting period before I can do it again. I can collect the fruit and keep it in my inventory, or simply leave it there while I wait for the next opportunity. I found this oddly calming because the game is not demanding anything from me. There is no pressure to rush through a level or constantly improve my score. I can just check in, shake …
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
"TimeKeeper" is completely pointless garbage... a spin on the "cookie clicker" genre, this one has you shake a tree, collect fruit, rinse and repeat. There's nothing to this and it's hard to even describe this as a game... there's no reason for this to be published on a platform intended for sincerely, genuinely made PC games. It's garbage pollution. This feels more like a tech demo or a project smacked together hurriedly to try make a kind of minimum viable product just good enough to pass the developers unambitious idea and shove it into Steam Direct to see if you can actually pay $100 and publish junk through Steam Direct. Yeah, you can. Is this good for gamers? Nope. As mentioned, this features really godawful, "wrong" looking AI slop instead of genuinely and sincerely created game assets. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating real game assets or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is tha…
