Mechanics are bad, Its a guessgame where i can jump and where not. Difficult to get off edges or jump

Great stealth game. If you like Dishonored 1-2 you gonna love this one as well. If the Developer/Publisher didn't make a clown show on a release, the game would get so much more love.

this would be a pretty good stealth game if it wasn't about 60% linear hallways and glorified cutscenes and annoying animations and disguised loading screens and if more sidequests weren't just "use a rope arrow here and then grab this object from an empty apartment room", and also it would be pretty good if they didn't do any of the other baffling design decisions they made like adding a button that lets you press F to turn every interactable thing that exists on the planet blue (it does this even if the focus meter is empty) and almost entirely eliminate the concept of there being secrets as a result while also not having interesting secrets to begin with, or if they didnt add points of no return with extreme frequency to ♥♥♥♥ with people who wanted to explore or go back to get more loot, or if they didnt screw up the dozen or so things that were done better and/or in a more interesting way in thief 1-3 there are a few very nice stealth sections in this game! shame that the stealth game thats supposed to be about stealth is *mostly* not about those kinds of sections and i dont even think it's worth the $2.99 sale price plus time investment

Blown Away. A GEM that I can't believe I never played. AAA dev's take notes. I am going to keep this review super short and simple. I am super picky about my games because I have a TBI and if they are too difficult to understand, play or navigate, if the lipsync is off, graphics suck, if the mechanics are not polished, I mean come on in todays tech these things should be basic and newer AAA games fail at this constantly. I was lucky and got this on sale for $3, I am not even finished with Chapter 1, have about 2 hours plus into it and am blown away by its graphics, mechanics, writing, it is so much fun. The visuals are just a joy to experience, I can't believe some developer or the same one has not tried to make a Thief 2, it would be hard to top this but with todays tech, this one is amazing. I do wished it was 3rd person and it turns out I am more of a combatant than a in the Shadows Thief. Even at $20, I would have not regretted my buy. My only gripe is I wished it had a better upgrade system, but other than that.... can't go wrong. Now, I just wished there was a 2. I don't understand all the hate this game is getting. Sure, it has a few drawbacks worth mentioning, like the frequent loading screens when transitioning between maps. However, if you are a sucker for the stealth genre, you will definitely love this game.
