At first, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin looks like a simple action game, but don’t let that fool you, it’s also a surprisingly deep rice farming simulator. Bought an action game. Ended up becoming a rice farmer. Now I’m more worried about my rice quality than the demons.

It feels like this game was made for the stereotypical white girl looking for a "Cozy Farming Sim", but halfway through, someone played DMC and loved the combos so much that they added a two sided torture simulator to this game.

Princess!! This game was chef's kiss! I don't know how I found it but: 1. Characters are solid. The studio fleshed out their development thoroughly resulting in a coming of age type of narrative. 2. Gameplay...extremely smooth! It did take me a while to understand raiment attacks with the analog stick but once I nailed it, wonderful! 3.Rice! 4. Plot is cohesive and well paced. 5. RICE RECIPEES! 6. Different culinary delicacies. 7.Beautiful graphics... 8. Ending....satisying. Solid 11/10 MoonlightQ
