However, the population has shrunk to 10% and the world was on the verge of collapse. The survivors fought against the remaining threats while trying their best to continue their recovery. Three years passed in the year 2027. In a new world without hope, the time has come to once again resist the fate of the Earth.

Love the game. Like all the new stuff. But the unskippable 'live' cut scenes...I just...it's kept me from going back and playing more. I mean it's not even a cut scene...it's freaking interactive cut scene. You can't walk away and come back. You must interact. The lunacy of it is off the charts. Please. Don't do this in the next one. I can promise you I will now be waiting to read discussions & reviews before I _ever_ but EDF again.2 found this helpful

absolutely hysterical blew up a crowd of enemies and my computer started throwing sparks cant wait for edf7
Back to the Future but the writers were high on Something™ Great for those used to the EDF franchise, but I'd recommend 4.1 for newcomers rather than 6. far cheaper too.
