Ys: The Oath in Felghana

Is YS. Is Straightfoward but Fun. But is really really hard. so if you wanna play the game. just play normal difficulity and enjoy the story.⭐⭐

A fun blend of action RPG, metroidvania and I dare to say even a little bit of the rogue-like genre if you don't decide to be patient and just yolo everything until the next checkpoint. I expected the bosses to be harder, based on all the fuss about them – they were rather alright, imagine metroid bosses but made into HP sponges. The story and the characters were okay, the animation really well made, just like the soundtrack. As a newbie, I will be returning to this title and am planning to check out other titles from the same franchise.

This was a fantastic game. And although I am not very good at video games i was surprised how many times i died on easy mode. Still the story is great and the small details like how very NPC's dialogue changes with story progression is just outstanding.

It’s okay, I can’t imagine going through this on nightmare tho. Also for a game all about Dogi’s homeland he should have been in this game more. He spends most of it climbing a mountain getting stuck at gorges and being unconscious. Bosses are easily the most annoying thing in terms of combat. Hope you like bullet hell bosses and being able to jump when there’s a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ on the screen. Honestly Ys Origins combat is better but it’s worth it if you like Ys.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
