The Hong Kong Massacre

Fun game. Its fast, its raw, its brutal. Classic hong kong scenario. And it can get quite hard, if you challenge yourselfs a little. Also reminds me a lot of max payne 1/2 except for the top down view obv. Nothing beats bullet time and jump dives plus rolling all over the floor I had some issues at 1st. Seemed like a rather hard than chill and relax game, and im not much of a fan of that anymore. But after i figured a few things out, the game instantly became enjoyable. Knowing how to use solid walls, doors, windows etc. to your advantage, seems to be the key element. The AI can feel pretty close to an aimbot that has only a tiny reaction time. And since 1 single bullet will kill you... Duck and cover. The levels were quite small so far, maybe a bit like hotline miami or such. Doesnt really hurt THAT much when you have to start over. Bit like old timey arcade games, where things often lasted for a cple of seconds or minutes at a time. If anything maybe i wish there was some sort of a skilltree/metaprogression. But we do get a handful of guns to unlock and some basic upgrade feature. Would definately buy it again.

If you like hotline miami it's like a worse version of that. Maybe get the game if it's on a super sale and you still want something other than hlm1/2

game crashes on the final boss whenever I try to start it. The game is fun, but there are just to many bugs(enemies shooting through glass, enemies not reacting to bullets, game repeadetly crashes)

The keybinds are super janky from what I've experienced, and everytime I get a weapon upgrade, I get softlocked in the weapon select menu to the point of having to alt+f4 out of the game entirely. When I boot it back up, it's forgotten which of the levels and challenges I had completed up until that point. The unfortunate part is that the game is fun, but the amount of trouble that the menus have given has made it had to recommend
