✦ AI summary

VR Monster Awakens is a destruction-focused VR game with a Godzilla-like appeal that provides short bursts of fun for casual players and longer entertainment for younger audiences. Players praise the core gameplay of grabbing and destroying objects in an arcade-style experience reminiscent of classic Rampage, though they note it's dated 2016 technology and some report control issues with locomotion that diminish the experience. The game appears to be in development limbo with an announced Quest 2 remake, leaving the current version's future uncertain.

For an adult this might be only 10 mins of massing around, but for kids this game provides hours upon hours of repetitive fun. Heard the devs are back, Here to write a positive review to encourage them.

Sadly it seems the game is abandoned and definately not made with the oculus quest 2 in mind. Fun for like 10 minutes

It's a ton of fun. It's from 2016 so it's an early VR game but it is still a really fun experience even today. It's a lot like the old arcade game Rampage, but in VR. It's being remade for the Oculus Quest 2 and so far it looks good. Buy it to experience 2016 VR goodness and also get to still play it if the new version will replace this original version on Steam

I tried the free version. Liked it. Bought the 'full' version. Locomotion in the free version is easy. Fun to grab and destroy things. Locomotion in the full version uses a different button (side button the the vive vs the track pad,), it sucks. You can't move easily and the game is no longer fun. Move the laser to the side button, and movement back to the trackpad. Moving is more important & required more often than the laser. I feel like I wasted my money on this. Very sad.
