Run, my little pixel is an extremely garbage 2D retro pixel/minimalst endless runner with a couple of added on elements, shooting (not particularly good shooting) and the ability to shift between layers of parallax between foreground and background (necessary to avoid some obstacles as you run endlessly to the right). Which actually makes this a little deeper than most of the shovelware endless runners plaguing Steam, but the technical implementation is of significantly terrible quality, this was probably slapped together in about half a day and very quickly dumped onto Steam as the shovelware cash grab that it is. Needless to say there's no serious value or merit for this as a game for PC gamers. The controls can't be customised,…

While the premise is easy to grasp, the game’s execution reveals both the strengths and limitations of such a focused design. The core mechanic revolves around navigating between multiple horizontal lanes while also jumping over hazards, creating a hybrid system that blends traditional runner gameplay with positional awareness. In theory, this adds a layer of depth, as players must constantly decide not only when to jump but also when to shift lanes to avoid incoming threats. Early moments highlight the potential of this system, offering a rhythm where movement feels reactive and fluid. However, as the pace increases, the design begins to show strain. The lanes often look too similar, and obstacl…
