About Dark Envoy

Dark Envoy brings classic RPG mechanics with a skill-based combat system built on classes and specializations, and blends it with diverse tactical options of approaching your battles. You control a party of relic hunters in a tale of destiny set in a conflict-torn world.

What unfolds when you combine the forces of Technology and Magic? A conflict which can have only one winner.
Enjoy the complete freedom of combat without the risk of it becoming monotonous or repetitive, as it continually offers fresh and exciting challenges. There are five different difficulty options, with the highest setting demanding you to effectively break the system.

Delve into a world of diversity as you explore our extensive roster featuring four core classes and a remarkable twelve distinct specializations, each offering a playstyle so unique that there's simply no comparing them to one another.
An extraordinary RPG system with such an expansive design that it nearly resembles a vast sandbox, it offers players boundless opportunities and creative freedom to explore and enjoy.
We don't simply tell; we illustrate choices that possess genuine significance, choices that bear substantial weight, shaping both the story and its conclusion.

They didn’t want to be pulled into all this, but others made this choice for them. Gather your unique party of companions. Your goal may not necessarily be to save the world but each other.

Very buggy co-op experience. Had some potential, but we kept running into issues with auto save not working so losing a lot of progress. Or game mechanics not working as intended. So we ended up dropping the game.

Game plays like moba, and is about as fun as one. Skills are under Q.R.E.C, while to turn camera you have to use num4 and num6. Combat is bad. This is only game where whenever fight starts im looking forward to ending it, just to get bored again. Story is so far is bland. It feels absolutely barren of urgency or importance. There is no feel of wonder or mystery neither. Skills you use don't show or feel powerfull in any way. Graphics and animations could be better, they are not tragic but they are far from good. Only good thing i like about this game is crafting. Rest feels like devs didn't have idea or will to make this game anywhere near interesing. And beware of the store. You sell stuff at 10% of value. If not for the fact that there is no way to dismantle these items there wouldn't be any point in selling gear. Game bad.

My initial impression of the game was a little negative, but in the end, it turned out to be a decent and enjoyable experience. At first, I was unimpressed by the annoying camera angle and the somewhat clunky unit controls. However, these issues became less noticeable as I progressed. The camera angle can be adjusted, and the impact of unit movement during fights is reduced by the ability to pause the action. Overall, I think I prefer this battle system over traditional turn-based combat. There are also some interesting systems, although they aren't particularly advanced. Things like crafting and enhancing equipment are present, and you can at least see a noticeable impact from using them.

The Good -The combat is great fun! It's based on the usual roles Tank > Healer > Crowd Control > DPS. -There is a good bit of flexibility with Speciality classes (you can spec your magic user into a Summoner for a bit of tanking for example). -You can choose Steampunkish or Magic based variants of most roles (have not tried them all yet! Went Steampunk on my first playthrough). -It's toggleabale "slow mo" rather than turn based or RTWP. -P.S. How could I forget the crafting! There are Unique drops of course, but a lot of my gear is crafted with custom enhantments to support my playstyle. The Meh. -The story is serviceable but a bit generic "Steampunk technology vs Magic" and all factions are varying degrees of arsehole.

Good game but I would suggest that Grim Dawn is the better version of this style of game.

The game is good. Plenty of fun. It does have Unity engine quirks (like crashing after playing for a few hours because it overheats the heck out of your PC), and slows down after a while as well, but it probably only crashed on me twice in my playthrough. The story is interesting. Nothing groundbreaking, somewhat familiar, but good enough to make me want to see the end. The abilities are cool, and i enjoyed all the enchanting capabilities, trying to find the best that worked with whatever class my characters were. I will say, the combat got boring after a good while, and i eventually went to the auto-combat towards the end, but at that point, i was very OP and very rarely died, but i did play on normal until the final boss. There is a good variety of enemies, so you do have to be tactical for most of the game, at least until you reach the later levels. I also enjoyed the challenge board, gives you a good chance to get A LOT of gold and decent gear. One more thing i did not enjoy too much were the unique items. Most of them had unique abilities, sure, but the modifiers on a lot of them were BUNS! I was better off crafting my own stuff for the most part, i do wish you could have remo…
