About Tinker-World: Arrival at Kedhreon

WARNING : This is a hardcore game that will not hold you by the hand with silly tutorials or hints like for kindergarten kids (even in the "Casual" mode!). This is a tribute game for early RPGs like Ultima or Wizardry; you'll have to find out things yourself. Reaching higher levels will be VERY hard and time consuming. If you're up to the challenge, TRY. ---..:: PLEASE REPORT ANY BUGS OR SUGGESTIONS TO [email protected] ::..---Explore, trade, loot, craft, and fight in a grand adventure as a young vagabond who just left the Imperial Navy to pursue a better life, hopefully filled with riches, fame, romance, and power. You'll find them if you dare.
  • over 70 unique, explorable locations (dungeon crawler mode)
  • hundreds of useable items
  • massive open world to explore in a turn-based mode
  • main and secondary storyline quests, along with side quests to complete
  • free to roam; you can play the game your way
  • badass one-liners from Geoffrey Rude
  • stoner/heavy rock soundtrack by the Danish band 'ZEUP'
  • hardcore and casual game modes for more flexibility
  • C64-inspired dithered graphics
In the Northern Regions, you will visit towns, villages, mines, undergrounds, temples, and much more to forge your own path, while the world is living its own life, and global and local events will have an impact on your situation.Exploring this massive part of the world, you'll have to take care of your food, medicine, clothing, and weapons. Manage your inventory to maximise your profits and impress citizens with your wealth and cultured behaviour. Or take the dark path, if you will...You'll find all kinds of establishments, from taverns and inns to stores, foundries, blacksmiths, and more. In the local power struggle between different clans and factions, find your voice and side with them, or become an advocate for the Imperial cause. But stay alert! As intrigues are common, the price is usually someone's head.Fight creatures that evolved differently than on Earth, with the Collosnails, huge insects, and dinosaur-like reptiles roaming the vast territories of the Northern Regions, and many different species, which might be extremely dangerous if approached. With hundreds of explorable locations, often you'll find yourself in the depths of a ruined castle, derelict prison, or just an abandoned mine, fighting for your life, trying to get as much loot as possible before some hungry berserk creature gets you, and the only choice will be to fight for life and death.Game Guide is available under "COMMUNITY" sectionTinker-World: Arrival at Kedhreon is a 100% indie game, created by two dads who worked after hours and with the help of some friends. They all made it possible. Luke & Tibor hope that, even far from perfect, you'll love the game and leave your honest review. We're promising that the game will be updated after the release, as there surely are bugs, even though we tested the game extensively. Here we need to thank again Martin and Ted, who spent a lot of time to make sure all 'bad stuff' was reduced to the very minimum. Well, enough said. Now, let's embark on a journey. A journey that can end in many different ways. Yes.

Tinker World is a true old-school RPG experience with a classic feel and a unique world. The combat, loot, and crafting systems work well and add real depth to the game. Exploration feels rewarding and engaging. It’s not an easy game – and that’s exactly what makes it so addictive. A true hidden gem for retro RPG fans. And works on SteamDeck :)

Pretty cool game. I refunded because it's not what I am looking to sink my life into at this moment. It has a very good retro feel to it and hunting for items to make stuff, foraging for food, etc. is a really cool system because you have to keep at it. Going offroad takes a lot out of you and you need to stock up to adventure. I may come back to it in a month or so to give it another go. It is quite fun.

It is a really good game but there are some oportunities to improve, for example the inventories slot are too little for me and maybe more visual effect would be nice

Addictive. Some things could be improved, but in general it's not bad. Worth the money if you're into these kind of games (like me!)

If you're tired of games that hold your hand, then Tinker-World: Arrival at Kedhreon is the breath of fresh air you've been looking for! This game perfectly captures the retro style of classic RPGs, offering a challenging experience that doesn’t spoon-feed you instructions. It respects your intelligence and lets you explore and discover the world on your own terms. I love that it’s not telling you straight what to do — it’s truly something for hardcore players who enjoy figuring things out themselves. The developers have clearly poured passion into creating an authentic, retro-inspired experience. Highly recommended for fans of old-school, hardcore RPGs who want a game that challenges and respects them!
