This is where people say the series died, i disagree immensley. The horror and setting are there the story is gigantic in scope, heady and doesn't play all its cards at once and introduces a pretty likeable new protagonist quite naturally. Co-op in 2026 still works though it requires a little steam forumn browsing but nothing impossible and certainly no need for any hamachi type program. Obviously you can easily play the entire game Solo aswell if you'd prefer. I believe this game is peak and over-hated, i think it strikes a similar action/horror dynamic as the second game but because they added a second character (definitely forced by EA) people completely discount it. The icey planet reminds you of The Thing along with obviously the creatures. The unique architecture of the old bases across it's surface feel very brutalist russia inspired is another layer of why i enjoy this title. The game also felt very long especially for a game of that era and has around 19 chapters with another 3 in the dlc. It is a very fun game and even more fun with a friend. DLC's were not needed but if you can afford em, I say grab them, suits and weapons are really neat. This game does NOT deserve all the table-flipping hate it's getting. Buy with no stress.

badhiya game hai. not as good as I and II, but still good

I've played Dead Space 1 (original and remake) & Dead Space 2 and after finishing Dead Space 3 i have to say it takes a turn away from the classic space horror survival and leans into horror action (heavy on the action). This game felt like it was trying to hurl as many enemies at you as possible instead of building that suspense like the other titles. it was a okay game. The voice acting was super cheesy the entire game. I did play solo campaign instead of the co-op so i'm sure my experience would have been different due to some areas feeling like it was ment to have another person with you. I did not like having human enemies in the game made it feel even more cheesy and generic. last gripe: the optional mission areas were repetitive, and the saving and quit function in game was also jank. Overall score 6/10 (play it once just for the lore)
