Gaiadon: Eternal Quest

Probably one of the best incremental hero games I played. The game has many systems working together, in my current game state I am still checking every single one of them to improve my builds.

Does what it says on the package, I'm still leveling up moon phases.

My only gripe with this game is the 24 hour AFK limit,thus not allowing you to progress much if you don't start the game nearly every day. Otherwise the progress of the game seems to be fairly fast (at least initially),and you don't need to micromanage everything for hundreds of hours (I tend to check if there's anything to upgrade once every hour and continue playing another game). The high task manager usage on my i5-6400+GTX-960 PC is a bit strange though,the minimum system requirements seem to be outdated once a lot of in-game upgrades are unlocked and more things happen on the screen. Overall score : 9/10

Last update proximate to 6/17/26 broke the game. Offline gains don't exist anymore and after the game launches, it'll freeze and then crash. Dev apparently thinks he's done "fixing" it since some people aren't having these problems anymore. I've uninstalled and ignored the game.

Genuinely one of the more fun Idle games I've played. It's a good mix of active versus idle gameplay, plenty of systems to engage with that have natural caps so you can shift your focus from one ot the other. Lots of 'number go up'. More importantly, the dev Nadukkon is one of the most communicative and positive devs I've ever had the pleasure to interact with. They're extremely active in their discord, give frequent updates and sneak peaks, and take tons of community feedback. They actively fix bugs that are reported and I cannot recommend this game enough.
