Small Saga

I thought I'd write a review after playing through the game a second time on Titan Reaper mode. And honestly it's everything I was hoping for! My only gripe with the game was how easy it was, you could just use basic attack without any thought whatsoever and breeze through the entire game on normal, but Titan Reaper fixed all of that. It's not even grossly hard, it's just a more proper challenge. I had to rethink my strategy once in a while when I lost a fight and it made it a lot more fun overall. Unless you don't mind difficulty at all and want to see the story only, I heavily recommend playing on Titan Reaper for a better experience! Thanks Darya for making the game that much more enjoyable than it already was!

Everyone loves a game where you play a funny little guy in a big world. Small Saga is no exception, as an immensely charming little RPG full of likeable characters living beneath the very real city of London. With a unique yet simple combat system that prides turn economy, and a story that fights against doomerism, Small Saga is a delight of which, the only downsides being that it can feel rather short, and a little too easy. Thankfully, the added optional Hard Mode can fix the latter, but it still comes highly-recommended because you can never have too many games where you play rodents fighting against the establishment.

This is a real gem. Great visuals, great characters, great writing, nice and lean combat that is still a bit on the easy side for me when set to hard mode but definitely still interesting. Buy it at any price.

A very charismatic turn-based RPG, with great and detailed pixel art, a cast of likable characters, funny dialogue, surprisingly good music, and a good story. Recommended if you like turn-based RPGs.
