As someone who's supported this game since 2020, I don't recommend it in its current state. I had originally supported the project through Patreon and if I'm perfectly honest, I don't think I recalled much of a difference from the game then compared to it now. The graphics are underwhelming, the customization is clunky and frustrating, and the gameplay loop is unintriguing. I had high hopes for years that the potential I saw would either come to fruition or the game would start building some big steps toward a more finished product, but the game feels and looks much too similar to the original project on Patreon from six years ago for my liking. If there's a sudden turn around in development and problems that have persisted for years finally get fixed, then I'd come back, but until then I don't recommend it.

No. I know this is early access but updates are very slow. CONS -I meet the recommended specs for this game but I still lag and have frame issues. I can run games like Dragons Dogma 2, Final Fantasy XIV, or Avatar FOP fine but Dracoina plays like a slideshow. - It's very empty. Enemies are few and far between, Npcs are not noticeable and I can't find any sort of map UI. - Clunky Character creator, In depth enough to make unique textures but good lord is it tedious. PROS -dragons look unique I want to see this game succeed but I feel like it needs more work done for optimization and better UI navigation.

First of all, I beg the developers: please add a map! And give the remaining races proper controls. Nobody needs new horns or wings until ALL races get usable movement systems. We also desperately need an option to disable inventory loss on death—not only is losing loot frustrating, but due to bugs, *quest items* still vanish into thin air. And finally, please add trading already. Now, on to the actual review (and it’s going to be a long one). I'm a new player, so my eyes aren't clouded by these 4 years of development. I managed to try the game right before patch v0.5.5.0 and immediately after—and the difference is night and day. Now it actually feels like a game. The potential is insane. The reality: it’s a project made by beginner devs (with all the typical amateur mistakes) working with a budget that consists of their mom's garage, three buddies, and a sandwich. It seems the devs are balancing this with full-time jobs, and as someone with some experience in game dev, I recognize how grueling that effort is. Pretty fun, and love how many options there are for customization! Looking forward to the future of this game!

Fun game! It's still in development, but I've been enjoying flying around as various dragons, and the world is beautiful. Max graphics make my graphics card VERY hot, but turning down a few of the settings helped a lot.
