Antipaint

I feel like there arent a lot of quick-to-finish rougelikes/lites out in the world. I love Hades and Wildfrost but a single run can last for upwards of an hour. I can play through Antipant in like 20 minutes and its goofy art direction gives it so much longevity. Even when I do get hit by an unfair attack, I just can't stay mad because I can get back to where I was very easily. Edit: The water ballons feel too slow, which functionally limits their range to the point of feeling very weak. I feel a large part in this going seemingly unadressed is because they are unlocked by only 18 percent of players, meaning there is less feedback on it compared to every other weapon in the game.

Fun game

This is the best game i have ever played. The humor, the gameplay, all simply perfect. I recommend it to you with every atom of my being.

Peak bullet hell

You know how some people say the best way to win by default is to take out the competition? Well this is how this game handles that as a mediocre artist wanting to become popular. You murder all sorts of paint blobs and artworks with artistic tools and make works of art that look like you splattered colors in an attempt to get through your art block. Its a decent rougelite shooter with a creative outlook into the art world and shows that you really need to work at something to make it somewhere, and in this case, its proving you have talent in painting, albeit in a roundabout way. The game offers a lot of variety with its choices and offers a strong challenge if you feel like it. It may have some flaws but overall, it isn't so bad to unleash your inner artist.

I usually do not play bullet hell games, and can struggle with them due to sensory issues. This game on the other hand is wonderful! I have no issues with any of the quick color changes and the whole idea behind this game plus the price makes it all worth it. 10/10 cannot recommend this game enough!
