Rogue Waters

i almost can recomend this game JUST ALMOST devs.... i had this game for free thanks to a lovely friend i had this game on my wishlist for ever but when i play it it give me like enjoyment like fustration sure i die alot sure but that part of the game and i not complain about that but i hate the Game punishes me for some STUPIT BUGS!. 1 bug i had where i littarly pressed to attack the game does not show me any high lights i had to press randomy everywhere to get it to fix or press a other character if lucky to get it back but if you dont you have to block stance and cant attack so I WASTED A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TURN BECAUSE OF THAT BUG.... second bug littarly no UI i was not able to place my characters not able or other time had no ui to command my guys only end TURN over and over. i love it i enjoy it i still will play it but just for how annoying this bugs are that are GAME BREAKING WHERE DESSISIONS CAN PUNISH THE PLAYER BUT THE BUG IS PREVENTING ME TO EVEN MAKE DESSISIONS IT RUINS THE EXPERIANCE! for that no recommend from me until you devs fix this, as i love it actualy when it works!.

It's a fun SRPG with a minigame which determines some difficulty of the SRPG action with a slay the spire map to go down as a roguelike. Pros: Refreshing SRPG action with movement. You hit your opponent into things and it deals damage that ignores armor. This is a newer mechanic to me which is why I found this game refreshing and primarily why I recommend it. Diffiiculty isn't too bad either, though admittedly I have not tried the harder difficulties. (Max Heroic 2, like Ascension 2.) I also enjoyed the pirate immersion. Cons: Another game where you choose your words but I haven't seen an impact on the story line. Buggy. sometimes you have to undo to get your attack button to work. Or sometimes you'll get some movement you undid after trying to do the undo. One time my PC crashed and I lost my save data, so I recommend backing it up. I have also searched the internet and I am not the only one with this issue. I believe this is found in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Ice Code Games\RogueWaters or wherever you have your steam stuff located. People mention game breaking bugs. Didn't get any of those, but did get the bugs that hard crash your PC

Not bad, was surprised it was fun, kept me coming back.

It's a darn shame. I really liked this game! I liked the loop, the difficulty and the progression but it has too many game breaking bugs. The worst one at the moment is that Stunned ENEMIES cannot be targeted. You effectivley just gave a mob imminity until its next turn. At higher difficulty levels armour is a huge problem to get through and half of the items that help mitigate it don't work. They just assume nothing is a valid target. Until the developers actually fix all of the stuff they broke stay the hell away from this one.

enjoyable 20 hrs, thats about it. forgiving and takes a bit to find whats optimum, but once you get a solid understanding of the chess like mechanics it becomes pretty straight forward.
