Balloon Azuna

Lucky me has the dubious honour of writing the first English review for yet another Anamik Majumdar cash grab. Balloon Azuna is a template flip from Anamik Majumdar, who keeps reskinning the same lame GameMaker Studio game templates and re-releasing it on Steam with a few minor changes. The GameMaker Studio templates he keeps re-releasing are just basic retro pixel (couldn't he rip off a template with proper graphics??) 2D top down/platformer stealth/action games. This one is the 2D retro pixel platformer template he's stamped out a few times. Got this from a friend as a joke. The game is incredibly bad. The controls are dreadful and everything slows down when you are jumping and falling. You can hit your head in an invisible ceiling, making you bounce down, usually to your doom. There are quite a few boxes in the game. Some contain helium crates (that prolong the timer), some you can stand on and some you just fall through and there is not clear way of knowing which in advance. Speaking of falling, you can fall quicker than the screen scroll, which is an interesting "design choice"... The game has a health bar but it's completely useless since all enemies kill you with one hit, except for projectiles which damage you so little that it doesn't matter. Don't get this game.
