I'm confused enough by the negative reviews that I wonder if I even played the same game. Especially the reviews that say you have to click all the time, because you can absolutely automate things while you explore this minimalist world. I feel as though people didn't "get" the game. Did they read the chat? Did they realize that
you can store hell gems?

The aspect of one material decaying into another means you have to be clever and can't just blindly produce materials to infinity, which is sort of the point. At first, sure, you click a little. But then you don't need to, and then you can make things more and more efficient until you're just sort of satisfied and it's time to live your life.
I thought the progression was genius, the aesthetic was gorgeous, the discovery of how to play the game was fun, and the sound design was fantastic.

It was fun. A bit iterative, but that's kinda the point "now do it again with cooler stuff". I enjoyed it enough to play for 30+ hours. Not bad for the price!

it's oddly mesmerizing, exactly what I expected and like. You'll enjoy it!

this is an example of high potential that is never being used. game is an eye candy, the idea is great but the gameplay has some very flawed design choice, the automation came so late in the game that you no longer feel the importance of it, imagine cookie clicker but instead of early/mid/late game time being fairly engaging you are stuck with 4 to 5 hours of early game, 70 hours of midgame and only 10 hours of late game. the most exciting stuff are at the very very end of the game which is really shame. overall 6/10, it could've been great but is pushed by some bad choices in loop design and balance which makes it still a decent entry in the genre but massively downgraded from what it coul've been
