LOST EMBER: Rekindled Edition

As much as I loved the original this rekindled verison is really, Really hard to play. Horrible framerate, really laggy, Barely runs.

A lovely story to play through, immersive visuals, well worth the handful of visual bugs you may encounter.

It's a very cute, cozy little game. The voice acting tho.. lowkey ruined it for me

A nice tale with a rewarding ending. Game ran fine on my older system. Found myself involved with the characters . Scenery never got old for me and the music was quite fitting and well placed. Overall I fully enjoyed playing front to finish.

I played the original a few years back and absolutely loved it! The rekindled edition, while the same foundation and story, adds so much more to it with its new beautiful visuals. The environments feel much more alive and visually appealing and I found myself getting lost in the breathtaking views frequently. I highly recommend this game for both returning players and new ones. Such a great story with many cute animals to play as. Regarding the DLC: While I really wanted to like the Legendary Souls DLC, I found it just didn't really speak to me like the main story did. I enjoyed the new open world but with little direction, it caused me to feel lost at times. The story was extremely weak and bland and it felt like there was very little pushing you forward. My honest opinion is that it wasn't terrible, but it wasn't exactly good either.

I could easily copy paste my review for the original here. Dive in, immerse yourself and just relax. That's what it's about, after all. The DLC let's you loose in a fairly large open map, letting you follow smaller scale stories, unlocking free transforming into other animals as you do. By the end of it, I couldn't help but simply go around in different forms for a bit and feel.
