Floodlight

A spooky little 40-minute (plus a little longer to 100%) thriller, offering a taste of what's possible from these budding developers (once a solo dev, now a duo). While I understand the price could feel a bit steep for some, I think with such uncertainty in the industry right now, it's always worth giving a chance to smaller teams testing out new ideas. I can't fault anything about the game, and it's always fun spontaneously coming across and diving into indie games to find something new and interesting.

Decent game which I was able to get 100% of the achievements in I would say 1 and a half playthroughs lol. I liked the character design along with the fact that her hair moves as well which I thought was a nice touch along with the cut scenes in the game. I would say the only thing I thought was a con with this game is that only the apartment hallways and your apartment along with the storage room were the only areas that were designed while meeting your friend outside and laundry room were basically just black screens and text. It was interesting, although I was honestly expecting a little bit more. I also encountered a glitch where I couldn't open door number 5, so I had to quit the game and start all over again... But, I'll still leave a positive review to support the dev. It also seems that this was their first game, and their new game seems a lot better; it also features the same character.

Imagine watching a horror movie with 30 minutes of slow build up, followed by 3 mins of scares, then credits roll. Great game that I was 100% invested in, but way way too short for any significance. Still worth a pick up. Should be free imo

This is a short game experience. It has an interesting premise, but it does need some work on some patterns that the game presents to you such as interacting with objects. I spent quite a bit of time at the beginning trying to figure out which apartment I had to go to since the game does not indicate to you and when you are carrying a box you cannot open a door. Despite some small game design issues on its consistency, I continue to support small studios such as SpaceZeta Games. Another suggestion, since it's a really short experience I recommend either lowering the price or letting the users know in the game description. I wish the best for them and please take this feedback as a constructive criticism.

I'm still working through the game, but my initial impressions are very strong and well beyond what I expected. From the opening scene, Floodlight delivers a striking presentation. The use of lighting, shadows, and sound design is skillfully executed, building a tense, suspenseful atmosphere through subtle yet powerful combinations of these elements. The developers have done an excellent job weaving these elements with narrative mysteries that beg to be resolved. It’s easy to get drawn into the strange and unsettling situation that Victoria, the main character, finds herself in, driving you to uncover what’s really going on in her apartment complex.
