About Nightfall Empress

The Rise of the Nightfall Empress

The Kingdom of Dravencourt has rotted from within: a tyrant obsessed with immortality, a twisted religion, and arcane arts corrupted by power. In the Underworld—where the souls of wrongfully slain women are reborn as winged demons known as Nightfall Empress—something stirs.
An angel named Serena breaks divine law to offer Isabel, a Nightfall Empresses consumed by resentment, an impossible chance: to become mortal again. To earn it, she must ascend from the abyss, wield her whip, and confront King Ferdinand IX, freeing a realm devoured by both holiness and sin.
Her ascent is not only vengeance.
It is redemption.
It is destiny.
It is the struggle to reclaim a life stolen from her.

Two Modes, One Vision

Standard Mode – ideal for playing or streaming freely, with more discreet visuals that preserve the dark fantasy atmosphere.
Integral Mode – for those who want the complete experience, featuring artistic nudity and bolder imagery, always treated with elegance and in harmony with Dravencourt’s decadent world.

Whip, Magic, and Exploration

Armed with her whip, the Nightfall Empress faces hordes of enemies in fast, dynamic combat, growing stronger through equipable spells, an RPG‑style experience system, and freely assignable stat points to shape your build.
Accumulate Awareness to awaken new powers and uncover hidden secrets across 7 explorable stages, each featuring a metroidvania‑style map, collectibles to find, and environmental puzzles to solve.
The experience draws inspiration from classics like Castlevania and Demon’s Crest, while evolving the legacy of our Swords & Bones saga.

The world needs more tasteful pixel art and artistic integrity.

Pretty good game that combines the level simplicity of Seep's other games, Similarly to the sword and bone series. With the map complexity of a metroidvania with a hint of artistic nudity you can censor if you wish. Combat isn't complex and bosses aren't the most difficult in the world but it all mixes in an enjoyable experience.

To quickly put in a good word, until I make a more detailed review. I like this game, it hooked me with its gothic music (in main menu :D) and dark gothic atmosphere, art style is nice too. I wonder what awaits me here...

I think Nightfall Empress was fun, has it's own spin on things, and had solid game-play even if a bit basic. Nothing wrong with tried and true. Of course the character designs and animations are the center of attention here, and that's exactly what I was in for. Just some boobies, nothing further an no extra attention about it necessary - just are and for the context of what it's doing, it works. The story was interesting as a motivation, and I liked all the dialog scenes. I finished the main story and the extra bit too. If you like what you see and don't mind a little more of a simple and methodical Metroidvania, definitely give it a go! I enjoyed my 8 hours with it. Devs are very responsive if you report a bug and have been implementing fixes very fast.

Solid metroidvania with really great artwork and a cool succubus-theme. Gameplay is solid overall and I reached the 100% in around 8-9 hours. There are some minor things that could be improved but the developer listens to feedback. Overall: i can recommend the succubus-tiddies-game

(Review in progress) About: Nightfall Empress is about a scorned soul who dwells eternally in the afterlife, but transverses realms (even ones forbidden) to fulfill a request hand-given by an angel for a shot at redemption. Likes: Bold, unapologetic, uncompromising artistic vision/fanservice rarely seen nowadays and harkens back to days of yore, from the promo material to the gameplay; of course optional if you want to turn it off ■ Pastel-like pixel character designs, backgrounds, and animations; chef's kiss to Isabel's (main character) flying animation ■ Beautiful menu UI, especially the upgrade menu featuring gorgeous art of Isabel ■ Despite backtracking, ample amount of contents for the price, seeing it as their longest game yet ■ Unlockable content in the form of a new area and final boss for true epilogue, something I don't see much in gaming nowadays, indie or mainstream ■ Simple but responsive controls (PS4 DualShock) ■ Simple but effective gameplay that made me lose hours wanting to see what's next in the upcoming areas and who I will meet ■ Some parts are really long to a save point, to which if activated can reset enemies; this gives you weight on whether you want to re…
