You pick up the pieces and try to connect them together to clear the lines as quickly as possible. Unlike 2D Tetris, there are two rows in three-dimensional space next to each other. This changes the kind of 3D shapes the game can employ to make your brain think spatially. You're on a timer as well. There's some modifiers / power-ups as well that will melt your brain. I know my brain was melted. Or maybe I should stop playing VR really late at night. In any event, it's inspired by Tetris, but obviously, very different from Tetris as well. Still, it's very much focused on quick thinking, strategic puzzle gameplay. I was confused by some aspects of the game that I don't think were explained well enough. That would be my biggest complaint. I also sometimes had difficulty placing the pieces correctly, but that may just be my lack of coordination but it did seem like the game really wasn't helping me on that front. Really fun and addictive, needs some support for valve index controllers, the grips are too sensitive and can easily let go of the pieces, other than that a lot of fun.

A solid addition to any VR library and a nice improvement over the original Vetrix which was already a pretty awesome title. This one is a lot more colorful but builds very nicely on the basic rules laid out in the original game. The developer clearly has a lot of talent and this game deserves many more positive reviews.
