Firing pattern is random Enemies have broken and unreliable hitboxes, they can one-shot you after you have killed them Enemies can spawn right behind you and you will not know because they lack sound barks Enemies can creep on you and you will not know because they don't emit any sound to identify their position Enemy attacks don't emit any sound, making it impossible to predict or dodge their attacks Firing explosive bolts is awkward, you have to hold FIRE2 for a few seconds, then press FIRE1 The hitbox of the explosive bolt is not reliable, sometimes you can one-shot one of the bulbs, sometimes it doesn't register even though you hit it directly in the eye of the bulb The health meter is a blood texture on the screen, it is not a reliable way to see how much health you have The special ability doesn't kill enemies behind you Damage feels random, sometimes you die to a weak enemy, sometimes you survive an attack from a stronger enemy, it is not predictable There is no sound or visual hint to inform you when the dash is available The game starts lagging every time you use the special ability to destroy 30+ enemies at the same time, you have to alt-tab to fix it The play…

Devil daggers but without the cool art style, the cool hidden mechanics and no movement tech. Not very good.

devil daggers easy mode. great way to try to train yourself to get better at this genre. unfortunately people are downvoting it because they can't 100% it.

I guess I just suck bad at Boomer Shooters and Arena shooters cause this game kicks my a$$. I bought it to 100% it for Achievements, but I can't even get to the Boss fight. I give up.

All the reviews calling it a Devil Daggers-like are right. Instead of the minimalist style of DD, you're in a medieval courtyard of a creepy castle and zombies and other slasher-type horror guys are showing up. I would recommend it only if it's on sale, or if you're desperate for a DD-like, because there are not a ton of those.
