In Valiant Hearts: Coming Home, play as four characters through exploration, action, and puzzles.
With James, brother of the courageous Freddie, relive the story of the renowned Harlem Hellfighters. Follow George, a mysterious pilot helping the Allied forces thanks to his flying skills and smarts. Play as Ernst, a German diver sadly swept into the great conflict. Finally, join Anna once again as she struggles in her quest to save as many lives as she can.
- An animated graphic novel–style adventure. From the depths of the sea and the raging skies to the trenches of the Western Front, immerse yourself in an artistically unique and touching emotional experience.
- Play four unsung heroes. As their destinies cross, help each of these characters survive the horrors of the trenches alongside their faithful canine companion.

[h1] I got it on a sale and I get why people dont like it [/h1] This game is the continuation and as well the finisher for the storyline. Yet I also noticed its came quite short, and despite getting it on a sale, still felt.. so quickly done. I think they made a design flaw about it more or less.. this game sets right at the end of WW1 and fortunatley and unfortunatley, there isnt much to.. build around it. The only thing we see that was relevant is that the united states joined, and we got insights about submarines and planes and about an afro-american unit. While everything else: The overall cause of WW1, the development of modern weapons, poision gas, tanks, and all of the atrocities soldiers had to endure and stories, were all adressed in the first game. Making in my opinion this game obsolete, besides just finishing the story of the characters. (This part contains minor spoilers) Its a shame that they dont really much build around the actual new aspects like the submarine, or plane thing, like actually sinking a ship, or doing more with the plane than just having to dodge things for 3 minigames in total. Also the puzzles got less challanging, and it feels overall despite …4 found this helpful
Bit of a let down compared to the first game. A lot shorter and not as many puzzles more of fetch quest each level and the same mini games. Still worth a play through when its on sale1 found this helpful
A very bitter truce.
A beautiful and emotional follow-up to Valiant Hearts. ❤️ The hand-drawn visuals are charming, the puzzles are enjoyable, and the story once again captures the human side of war with memorable characters and touching moments. Short but meaningful, and definitely worth playing if you enjoyed the first game.
I am so happy to have finally gotten around to playing this game. I feel like it was short, but the story was amazing and it felt great to be back in Valiant Hearts. What a shame and disservice to this game for it to have been locked behind Netflix for so long. If you liked the first Valiant Hearts, this one is worth dipping into.
