This game is the definition of two-faced, it has a lot of really good ideas and executions within it but there's also a lot of really poorly handled or outright bad sections to this game that hinder the overall experience. A lot of people will say that Travis Strikes Again or NMH3 are the black sheep(s) of the series for one reason or another, whether it be the stories, the different gameplay, the graphics, etc but those very same arguments can be lent over to NMH2 which does the very things that those two games do better in their own ways. In my opinion at least, even though NMH2 is a great game and you can have a lot of fun with it, it is the black sheep of the series for more than one reason. I should also mention that in this port of NMH2 there is a really annoying bug where if you go out and do something like hit the gym for upgrades or grind to get more money to buy the other two beam katanas and …

Very good game I had a lot of fun. I'm glad they got rid of the annoying open world, it sucked ass. The combat was a little more simple and you couldn't kill like 8 enemies with 1 swing. They made the women hotter though so that's also a plus. The minigames also are much better. It is all very good but it's missing something I just can't point to that existed in No More Heroes 1. But obviously I would rather replay this game than the first one. I give it a 9.2.

I loved the first game and you can see that they removed some stuff in the sequel but I find that the gameplay is way better in nmh2. Plus most bosses in this game were way better and it was so much fun to fight them all. One thing that is kinda bad is the minigame jobs unlike the first game it was such a drag to do it and tbh I wasn't a fan of it. except for that the game was so good imo and they also added other playable characters which was a refresher. moe/10 god bless suda
