About Dysterra

✦ AI summary

Dysterra is a first-person sci-fi survival shooter where you gather resources, build bases, craft weapons, and compete for terrasite mineral on a post-apocalyptic Earth to either forge alliances or dominate solo. The game stands out with player-controlled server wipes, deep skill progression systems, underground exploration with unlockable bunkers, and full character customization including cybernetic arms.

Our FPS Sci-fi survival crafting PvP game is set on a post-apocalyptic Earth where humanity has been forced to live off-planet on a giant satellite named Orbis. You have been sent down to Earth to gather a mineral called Terrasite that is now humanity’s main source of energy.
In Dysterra, you must gather materials, build your base, craft weapons and items, and gather terrasite to power your base. Work together with other players to build a giant stronghold, or go solo and hunt down other players to work your way to the top of the rankings!

Dysterra takes the familiar survival-crafting formula and pushes it into a futuristic setting where advanced firearms, hostile machines, resource competition, and large player-built bases are just as important as simply staying alive. Developed and published by Reality MagiQ, the game takes place on a devastated Earth after humanity has largely retreated to the orbital station Orbis. Players return to the surface in search of Terrasite, a valuable energy resource that provides both the narrative motivation and the foundation for much of the game's progression. The opening hours follow a recognizable survival rhythm. Resources must be collected, materials processed, equipment crafted, and shelter established before more ambitious expeditions become practical. Metal, stone, Terrasite, and other supplies gradually turn a vulnerable survivor into a heavily equipped combatant with better weapons, armor, tools, and facilities. Base construction is especially important because a settlement becomes more than a convenient storage location. It represents accumulated time and resources, while also becoming a potential target when playing on competitive multiplayer servers. Combat gives Dyst…

Dysterra is a survival game that I found much more interesting once I started paying attention to how many different systems are working together. I am dropped onto a ruined Earth where I need to collect Terrasite, build a base, craft equipment and survive against both hostile machines and other players. I liked the feeling of being part of a larger struggle for resources because there is always something else pushing me to explore further. The gathering and crafting loop is familiar, but it works well here. I can mine materials, build structures, create weapons and improve my equipment while gradually making my base more useful. I enjoyed the sense of progression because almost everything I do contributes toward making my character stronger. The skill system is especially nice because I can invest in things like health, item efficiency and movement abilities depending on the way I want to play. The server cycle is probably the most interesting idea for me. Controlling monuments can affect how long a server remains active, so the world itself has a limited lifespan. I liked this because it gives territorial conflict a purpose beyond simply owning another area. It also means that …
