A simple and casual RPG with some extremely convenient quality of life features but also missing some smaller ones. Overall it is a net positive to me. The biggest thing that stands out to me is the art style, really gives me a dose of nostalgia. The fights are super simple with a battle turn bar where you and the enemy appears and you can use elemental attacks to postpone their turn and break their guard. They cannot do the same to your characters, just inflict some statuses. There are no items or escape option, but a game over doesn't mean you lose all progress as the auto-save is quite generous. A surprising mechanic is that you do not gain HP from levelling up, instead you engage in the cooking mini-game and eat a variety of food. There is a simple equipment system and some RNG from the support characters that will rotate to their whim. The story ended too abruptly for me, feeling a bit rushed. Some of the open threads and character backstory are explained but not everything, maybe to tease a potential sequel. Regarding the QOL features, THANK YOU DEVELOPERS for introducing a get out of dungeon teleporter and a NPC that not only informs you of missed points of interests, …

Was loving the game till it froze during a fight a good ways in then completely erased my save, forcing me to start from the very beginning because you cant have multiple saves for some unfathomable reason. Simply cant trust the game enough to start again.

A really nice and chill game, Terra Memoria has beautiful graphics, a charming atmosphere, and you can spend a lot of time building and customizing your own town. The combat is a bit too easy, and the game could use more QoL features, especially when it comes to finding resources like shells, algae, etc. A better way to locate resources would make things much more enjoyable. You can finish the game at 100% in around 20 hours, but if you want to build a beautiful town, you can easily add another 10–20 hours depending on how motivated you are. Overall, I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend it. I’m looking forward to seeing what these developers do next!

Just 100% the game in a little less than 9 hours, I bought it for 5€ on sale. For me it's an okay first game where the studio tried to cram too many ideas in their game and most of them ended up being kinda meh. The good : * It's fun * It looks really good (and I don't particularly like the hd-2d style) * Good music * The spells mechanic/inventory is really fun The meh : * The battle system: it works but it's really too simple and there is absolutely no challenge, if you die (I probably died twice during the game) you simply go back before the fight * The puzzles/hyena riddles, they are not really fun or intuitive but at least they exist * The story: it's not bad, but not good either, I think trying to tell the story of 6 characters in 8 hours feels rushed The bad : * The game holds your hand all the time, the game is already linear but the quest popup appear all the time to make sure you don't have to think for a minute * The cooking: It's useless, takes too much resources and the cooking minigame is boring. * The end of the game is completely rushed

A cute little RPG with some great characters, a neat turn-based combat system, and not a whole lot of grinding needed to keep on trucking through the main storyline. The hyenas gave me more of a laugh than they probably should have. The soundtrack slaps. Easy recommend.
